This Cookie Policy explains how Direct.Art (trading name), operated by the Direct.Art founding team pending incorporation, uses cookies and similar technologies on direct.art / www.direct.art.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use local storage in your browser, which works in a similar way for remembering preferences. UK privacy rules (including PECR) can apply to cookies and comparable technologies.
2. What we use today
On our current marketing / waitlist site we prioritise privacy-friendly tooling. We do not currently set advertising cookies or common analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) on this site.
Strictly necessary / essential storage
- da_cookie_consent (local storage) — remembers that you have seen and accepted our cookie notice.
- da_waitlist_email, da_waitlist_profile (local storage) — remember your waitlist form entries so you do not have to re-type them.
These are used to provide the functionality you expect. They are not used to track you across other websites.
Third-party resources
- Bunny Fonts — fonts are loaded from fonts.bunny.net; we use this provider because it is designed not to set tracking cookies.
- jsDelivr / unpkg — JavaScript libraries loaded for site animation and UI. We select these CDNs to avoid unnecessary tracking cookies where possible.
- Hosting (Vercel) — may process technical request data. Any cookies set at the infrastructure layer are limited to security and delivery of the site.
3. Optional cookies (future)
If we introduce analytics or marketing measurement cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent before those non-essential cookies are placed, unless a valid exemption applies by law.
4. How to control cookies and storage
- Use the cookie banner on our site to accept essential storage (where shown).
- Clear site data or local storage in your browser settings for direct.art / www.direct.art.
- Block cookies entirely via your browser — note that some site features (such as waitlist prefill) may not work as intended.
